When I started this newsletter, I planned to write about travel and books, but I find myself continuing to reflect on our trip to Spain, so it’s skewing more towards travel.
I loved hearing about your Ireland adventures and how they correlate to your recent travels. It's interesting how challenges leave their marks and become embraced as part of the overall experience. (Though I suspect Oscar is not yet embracing the memory of his food poisoning!)
He is getting there. I like how you frame that as the challenges just become part of the overall experience. So true! Thanks for reading and your comment!
I remember those buses in our suburb of Dublin! And how I almost didn't get on the first time. I kept waiting for it to stop and it never did....I think you and mom got on first and I had to run to jump on! Do you remember the name of the suburb??
Loved hearing this story! And it rings so true that “they were buried in my physical body, not my mind.” xoxo
Thanks for reading and noting that comment! It was so interesting to realize the physicality of this memory.
Loved this piece!

Yep, that first time was really hard. I don't remember what part of town we lived in. Maybe mom or Vicki would.
